HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\
DescriptionThe NonEnum subkey of the Policies subkey contains entries that tell the system not to enumerate (display) components of the Windows interface. These entries are written and maintained by Group Policy, and are read and interpreted by the interface programs.
The Non-Enum policy subkey in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE stores entries that apply to all users of this computer. There is also a Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\NonEnum subkey in HKEY_CURRENT_USER, which stores policy-related entries that are configured separately for each user.
The entries in this subkey have the following format:
Class-ID or GUID of the component REG-DWORD 0 | 1
То есть политики можно создавать на уровне пользователя, а не только всей машины!
Из полезного для себя нашёл компонент, отключив который, будет скрыт ярлык «Сетевое окружение» (с рабочего стола и Мой компьютер)
New-ItemProperty “HKLM:\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\NonEnum” -Name “{F02C1A0D-BE21-4350-88B0-7367FC96EF3C}” -Value 1 -PropertyType “DWord”
Раньше эта же процедура выполнялась несколько сложнее (приходилось менять разрешения на ветку реестра).
